Traces of the World
2007 - 2008, digital photographic prints.
The artist regularly uses the shadow as a simile to
describe what he actually sees. There is evidence of
a presence within the absence or darkness, but its
exact nature is often ambiguous.
The image is part of a larger story which is taking place outside
or beyond its edges, both for the maker and for those who encounter
the work.
A series of 36 photographic prints from the shadow series.
